This is where I share with you what stirs and awakens the souls of others and mine, what it feels like; what gives us that kick when drudgeries of life consume us. I will talk briefly about anything that inspires me and welcome you to do the same. Sometimes it may be a picture; other times, a story, a poem, a song, etc.

I am here to live out loud. ~ Emile Zola

"I am here to live out loud." I love that! It's like saying "Hey world, I am here and I am alive!" I remember times when I was a child where life was not much fun and I felt "bad" a lot. In fact, the more I blended into the woodwork, the better it was for me. But regardless of my environment, my spirit was always alive, albeit a spark. And you know how I kept it alive? Writing. I remember scribbling things on paper towels when I was only 3; writing about anything that I saw or thought. I wrote in closets, under beds, in the bathroom, in a tree, anywhere I felt safe. Who knows whether my scribblings would have made sense to others or not. It didn't matter. They made sense to me. It was my way of saying to myself "I am here. I know I am here." I never made a career out of writing but I do use it as a means to communicate whenever I can or feel like it; like right now! Writing has been and always will be one of my passions.

Passion
Copyright C 1990 by Veronica M. Hay

The difference between a job and a career.
The difference between an actor and a star.
The difference between a song and a symphony.
The difference between a painting and a work of art.
The difference between caring and intimacy.
The difference between romance and rapture.
The difference between intelligence and genius.
The difference between living and being alive.

Passion

Wanting to jump out of bed in the morning.
Wanting the night to never end.
Wanting the moonlight to last forever.
Wanting to reach and touch the sky.
Wanting forever to be longer.

Passion

When everything tastes like Champagne.
When everything smells like Freesia.
When everything looks like Christmas.
When everything sounds like Mozart.
When everything feels like Velvet.

Passion

When heaven is not a place to go to, but a place to be.
When success is not a thing, but a feeling.
When love is not an offer, but an acceptance.
When music is not a sound, but a resonance.
When life is not an existence, but a celebration

Can you find your passion? I just recently read the following on another site:

"These days we hear it all the time. Oprah and Dr. Phil do shows on this topic regularly. "If you want to be happy, you must find your passion and live it." Sounds good, find your passion and your troubles are over, simple.

But if it is so simple, why don't more people live a life of passion? I submit it is because they expect the passion to jump in and announce itself, leaving them nothing to do but wait for it to appear.

Of course, the question is how? How do I find what my passion is if it will not jump out and notify me? The answer is simple, you make a decision.

People tend to make things more complicated than they are. They feel they need all the answers before they make the decision for fear that they will make the wrong one.

The truth is you probably will fall down sometimes, we do this when we learn something new. But that is not a reason to stop. What would happen if a baby decided to stop trying to walk because he or she fell down the first, second, third time.? Of course, the baby would never walk, and this would shut out so many opportunities for them in life.

If you are failing to make a decision about being passionate about something, you are shutting out all the possible positive outcomes of your passion. The truth is you might not be able at this time to see anything positive in deciding to be passionate, but I guarantee there.is something positive there. There is nothing in life that does not have a counterpart. Summer/winter, rich/poor, happy/unhappy, for every negative there is a positive and the reverse is true also. So, if your life reflects the negatives pain brings, make a decision to find the positives, such as deep understanding of the human spirit, and go after that as if it were your passion.

If you choose to do this, one of two things will happen. Either you will become passionate about living your life in the light, or the path will open another door that will lead you to your passion.

Passion
by Kristine Beulke

Passion - more fierce and
fulfilling than one can imagine.
It is what one seeks,
so to speak.

Enveloping your very soul,
taking you places you didn't know.
And nothing can be found
to take it's place.
No other moment or
sweeter taste.

Than passion,
more fierce and fulfilling
than one can imagine..

Passion.

Life is about making choices regardless of our circumstances, what is your choice?"

Have you found your passion? What is it? Please say hello in my Guestbook and tell us about you and what gives you the spark!
